Sorry I’ve been a bit neglectful of this blog lately. Have had a few things going on and needed to focus my energies elsewhere.
Back now though, so hopefully you’re all still around because I’ve missed our conversations. (I would insert a little smile in here but this blog makes them into smiley emoticons with yellow faces and I think it clashes with my pic so just imagine a typographical one, ok?)
Finally finished this pastel painting and have been meaning to share it with you, it is the largest one I’ve done so far. The location is Freshwater Bay in Mosman Park in WA. Somehow makes me think of painting some similar scenes of the Hawkesbury in NSW just to notice how they differ.
Lots I would try differently next time and probably more I could still do, but hey, sometimes you just have to back away from the easel…
