It can only mean one thing…
.. a watercolour, you guessed it. This one is of a view of Middle Harbour from Seaforth in Sydney. I took lots of photos at dusk, the one below probably isn’t the best, but one I decided to have a go at.
I notice that when I take a pic of a painting, then reduce it in size and upload it near the source photo how ‘faults’ jump out at me. They seem really obvious and I always want to go back and try and correct them. But I’m getting better at letting go… that’s what the next paintings for, isn’t it?

It’s an old set Jim but I got given a new set which I’ll get into soon. The paper I’m not sure about. I think it is a heavy type of hot-pressed paper (with that gorgeous edge to it)… my lovely neighbour’s boyfriend is an artist and he gave me a whole stack (and I mean a stack) in a giant box. There’s a mix of different types in there as well – some seem very expensive.
